ISABEL HUTCHISON

Isabel Hutchison has lived in Parsons Green for nearly four decades, combining a background in interior design with a long career as a commissioned artist. After working with Nicholas Herbert’s design firm in Chelsea, she became self-employed, painting murals, portraits, and houses from her Fulham studio.

Alongside private commissions, Isabel has pursued painting, printmaking, and photography, exhibiting widely across London. A former committee member of the Society of Fulham Artists & Potters, she has contributed to local projects such as the Carnwath Road hoardings and regularly takes part in exhibitions and open studio events. She has also studied at Heatherley’s and Chelsea Art School, later completing a BA in Photography at Westminster University.

Isabel draws inspiration from the River Thames, particularly its bridges, which have featured in dedicated series and an exhibition at Tower Bridge. Closer to home, the light, trees, and lively character of Parsons Green continue to shape her practice. She is also a long-standing member of Artichoke Print Workshop in Brixton, where she develops her printmaking in the company of fellow artists.

Isabel will be exhibiting with 67 Studio in 'From Bridge to Bridge' October - December 2025. Contact us info@67studio.co.uk for further information on exhibiting artworks.
